Rosalía is chosen as the MAC Cosmetics Viva Glam Ambassador
The 26-year-old singer, Rosalía, can now add ‘MAC Cosmetics VIVA GLAM Ambassador’ to her current laundry list of achievements, which include six Grammy’s and multiple collaborations with today’s top hip-hop artists.
The Viva Glam line, exclusive to lipsticks and lipglosses, was founded in 1994 with all proceeds going towards men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDs. Rosalía joins a legacy with other icons such as RuPaul, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Rihanna, and Arianna Grande. Over $400 million have been raised through the MAC AIDS Fund solely through the sale of the Viva Glam line, which is an incredible achievement.
It is no surprise that Rosalía was picked to be the face of such an impactful venture. In the last two years alone, she has been busy cementing her status in the hip-hop world dropping hit after hit such as “Milionària,” “MALAMENTE,” and “Aute Cuture.” Her most popular collaborations include J Balvin for “Con Altura,” “Yo y Ti, Tu x Mi” with Ozuna, and possibly her most star-studded with Travis Scott and Lil Baby for “HIGHEST IN THE ROOM.”
Rosalía had an explosive 2019 as her songs reached popularity in various Latin countries, making its way to the US and leaving quite an impression on American listeners. She performed at the Billboard Music Awards and the Grammy’s–amongst other major music festivals–won multiple MTV awards and made history as the first all-Spanish artist to be nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy’s. She picked up her first Grammy for her album “El mar querer.”
Her signature red lip is the perfect embodiment of Viva Glam.
