New Rihanna Documentary Coming to Amazon Prime Video Next Summer
A new documentary showcasing Rihanna’s life and accomplishments is in the works.
Expect to see Rihanna’s new documentary on Amazon Prime Video next summer, produced by Film 45. Over the past couple of years director, Peter Berg and Rihanna have been working together to create a documentary about the singer. These two have worked together in the past, during Rihanna’s acting debut in the 2012 film Battleship. It has been said that some footage of the upcoming film will be of Rihanna traveling around Europe.

The documentary has been a long time coming and is sure to showcase many of the musical and entrepreneurial successes that Rihanna has had over the years.
Berg tells Collider what creating a documentary about such a successful and amazing woman has been like. “She’s a remarkable woman, who every day seems to grow and branch out into new businesses and new endeavors at a rate that it’s almost hard to keep up with… So every time we think we’re going to finish the movie and put it out, she does something like start a fashion line like Fenty, or her lingerie line, or her skincare line. She’s firing on all cylinders, she’s making new music now and she’s having so much success in business and she’s such an entrepreneur that we’re letting it grow, but we are gonna try and close it up in the spring and release it in the summer,” Berg says.

Amazon purchased the rights for the film for $25 million and it will be available to stream when it is released next summer.
Fans are definitely beyond ready to skip to summer 2021 so they can watch.
