You Can Now Have a Fetch Breakfast With New ‘Mean Girls’ Themed Toaster Strudels
Pillsbury recently came out with the limited-edition Mean Girls toaster strudels, just the pick-me-up we needed in 2020.
Mean Girls (2004) is the It movie that will never go out of fashion. The movie was starred by Lindsay Lohan (Cady), Rachel McAdams (Regina), Amanda Seyfried (Karen), and Lacey Chabert (Gretchen) and written by the amazing comedian Tina Fey, who also played a part in the movie as Ms. Norbury. In other words, Fey is who we have to thank for this gem that is a great part of our lives.

Now we have someone else to thank. After seeing countless products made inspired by the extremely famous movie, such as a candle, a cookbook, a mug, etc., Pillsbury has just gifted us with what we are sure you never expected: a Mean Girl‘s inspired Toaster Strudel. Toaster Strudel has announced on Instagram the exciting news. This is in celebration of the 16 year anniversary of the sleepover classic.

To some, it may be incredibly random to have a Mean Girls inspired Toaster Strudel (though no one will complain anyway), but to the Mean Girls diehard fans, this is very significant. In the movie, Damian (Daniel Franzese) explains Gretchen Weiners was “totally rich because her dad invented the Toaster Strudel.” And Gretchen Weiners utters the now-iconic line, “I don’t think my father, the inventor of Toaster Strudel, would be too pleased to hear about this,” Now Pilsburry has played with this line for the publicity of the new product.
I think her father, the inventor of Toaster Strudel, will be very pleased about this. 👀 pic.twitter.com/FaI7ZEyvg8

According to Delish, Pillsbury also announced The Most Fetch’ Toaster Strudel Icing Sweepstakes, where contestants will make their best icing design using the limited-edition pink icing. Three grand prize winners will get a personalized video message from Lacey Chabert (aka Gretchen herself), one year’s worth of Toaster Strudel, and Mean Girls merchandise, so get drawing or you can’t sit with us.
