Wallows Is MTV’s PUSH Artist of the Month
Alternative rock band Wallows have been announced as MTV’s PUSH artist for September 2020.
On September 4, Wallows posted the announcement via their official band Instagram account.
The band let their fans know that if they go to the MTV PUSH website, they will find exclusive videos, such as interviews and a performance of their hit single “Are You Bored Yet?” This song is from their album Nothing Happens.
MTV PUSH is an online series that essentially showcases a new and/or compacting artist each month by creating exclusive content with the musician. Some of the artists that have been highlighted recently include Yungblud, Lewis Capaldi, Billie Eilish, H.E.R., and Doja Cat.
The interviews discuss things such as their favorite songs to play during particular moments and feelings in their life with band members Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston. Fans can learn how Clairo became a part of the tune, as well as about the background and meaning behind “Are You Bored Yet?”

“Are You Bored Yet?” peaked at number 7 on the Billboard charts. The band has recently announced a virtual world tour that fans could attend as a way to make up for all the live performances that were canceled due to COVID-19. Wallows have a new single “Nobody Gets Me (Like You)” coming out on September 9. The music video for the song will be premiering on YouTube this Wednesday at 9 AM PT.
