Demi Lovato Is the Mental Health Spokesperson for Talkspace

Demi Lovato has just announced her partnership with online therapy and mental health service Talkspace.
Lovato has gotten candid about her mental health struggles in the past and even released a documentary called Simply Complicated in 2017, which reflected on her struggles along her personal and musical journey. She discussed her relapse, sobriety, and other mental health issues in the four-part YouTube documentary.
Now, Lovato is partnering with Talkspace to inspire others to take action in support of their mental health and well being.
Talkspace connects you with a licensed therapist from the privacy of your own device. You can send your therapist text, audio, picture, and video messages at any time. Your therapist will respond daily, five times a week. You can also do live video sessions so you and your therapist can make an appointment to connect in real-time. Your Talkspace “room” is available 24/7 so you never have to wait to share what’s on your mind. You can message your therapist whenever something comes up, no matter what you’re doing or where you are. Their national network features thousands of licensed therapists across all 50 U.S. states and Canada. Talkspace’s platform is HIPAA-compliant and encrypted banking-grade, industry-standard technology.
Patients are open to seeking counseling for any struggles they are dealing with so no individual is left without help.
With the uncertainty and hardships tied into the current pandemic, Lovato wants to help those who are silently struggling in the current chaos access same-day care from licensed therapists and psychiatrists.
The partnership will begin with social media campaigns this month. The singer revealed that she wants to use her voice and platform in a meaningful way. She’s hoping to change the conversation and the way we view mental health as well as allow others to talk about it more openly with less of a stigma attached. She wants to help improve or even save the lives of others.
Fans absolutely love the partnership.
