Ways to Help the Victims of the Latest West Coast Wildfires
As record-breaking fires burn across the West Coast, Glitter has listed resources to help those who have been affected.
On Wednesday, it was stated that at least seven people are dead as a result of wildfires that have spread over two million acres of land throughout California, Oregon, and Washington.
Oregon Gov. Kate Brown predicts that “This could be the greatest loss of human lives and property due to wildfire in our state’s history.” And California Gov. Gavin Newsom expressed how real climate change is, and urges for voters to vote.
These pictures cry out for change. CA has invested more in wildfire prevention than any time in our history. Enacted bold climate policies. But it’s not enough.
We must do more. We need action at EVERY level. CA cannot do this alone.
