Lauren Conrad recently launched her own ethically sourced beauty collection, and you’re going to love the products.
The collection, Lauren Conrad Beauty is a makeup and skincare line created by Conrad herself that focuses on using clean ingredients and environmentally friendly materials. Last month, she announced the launch of the beauty collection on Instagram.
The products are vegan, cruelty-free, and designed to be gentle on your skin, so you won’t have to worry about any irritation or breakouts. The line is free of parabens, phthalates, and any other additives.
Conrad’s new collection currently includes five products that can be used to create an entire makeup look you’re gauranteed to love. These include a liquid eyeliner, lipstick, lip and cheek tint, liquid highlighter, and lip gloss. The products range from about $18-26 making it an affordable eco-friendly brand.
The line focuses on natural beauty, and their products provide a lighter coverage. Conrad revealed she believes a beauty routine should be a beautiful experience, and we should spare a little time each day to spend on ourselves. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, she shared, “I wanted to be involved in every step and develop a line that I felt really passionate about.”
Conrad has melasma, which causes discoloration on the face, so she wanted to create products that would brighten the skin and make people feel good about themselves. In the future, she plans on releasing a cleanser, toner, and vitamin C oil.
As expected, people could not wait to get their hands on Conrad’s new line of beauty. Fans expressed their excitement about the line and seemed to admire the brand’s ethics.
