Mariah Carey Shows Support for Breonna Taylor
Mariah Carey uses her social media platform to show support for Breonna Taylor and demand justice.
Mariah Carey has been actively speaking up about injustices through her social media accounts. Recently, she took to Twitter and Instagram, to show her support for Breonna Taylor, the Black Lives Matter movement, and medical workers, while demanding the police that killed Taylor be put in jail.

Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old nurse technician from Louisville, Kentucky was killed on March 13th, 2020 by officers of the Lousiville Metro Police Department Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison, and Myles Cosgrove. The officers entered the house with at night, with a no-knock search warrant, and fired 20 shots, 8 of them hitting Taylor. Carey showed her support for the Taylor, demanding the cops that killed her be sent to jail for murder, and encouraging her followers to check out the twitter page @wearepushblack, an account that reports on Black news stories and history.
