Wake up and Vibe To Music From UK Singer Cleo Sol
R&B/Soul and Reggae singer Cleo Sol has some smooth tunes that you’ll want to add to your chill vibes music playlist.
From West London, the singer grew up in a very musical household. Her Jamaican father and her Spanish and Serbian mother first met when they were in a jazz band together. Cleo Sol was introduced to a wide variety of music genres such as Reggae, Latin, Pop, and Jazz, which all inspired her musical taste that she would then go on to put forth into her unique music.
This March, Cleo Sol released a new album called Rose in the Dark, which features eleven new songs. She also dropped a new single titled Shine this July.

The artist’s single “Her Light” was recently featured on NPR’s Heavy Rotation list, praising her powerful and inspiring lyrics as well as the song’s beautiful musicality. Her tracks have also been well received by other stations such as BBC Radio 1 and Kiss.
Cleo Sol also seems to play a role in the rising of an anonymous music group from the U.K., SAULT. The alternative group released the album Untitled (Black Is) on Juneteenth 2020. This mix of different voices and musical styles aims to call out systematic racism and demand justice for those of the Black community who have been directly affected.
While the people behind the group remain pretty anonymous, Cleo Sol has been credited for songwriting on their past albums and has recently shared a post on her Instagram hinting towards something new.
Another song, “When I’m In Your Arms,” was released earlier this year and has reached over 900,000 streams on YouTube, making it a must-listen.
