Pentatonix Drops New Music Video for ‘Mad World’

RCA

Your favorite acapella group just dropped a music video for their newest cover of “Mad World.”

Pentatonix has released their rendition of the classic song by Tears for Fears. The video has already received over 150 thousand views on YouTube and features the quintet clad in all black with close-ups of them singing the somber lyrics.

Social media has shown a positive reaction to the video and fans are excited about what they believe to be a new era for the group. “Mad World” comes almost two months after the release of Pentatonix’s original song, “Happy Now,” the group’s first since 2015. This also follows their last EP At Home, which featured covers of songs by The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, and others. Whether this next album brings more amazing covers or new original music, fans are pumped about what Pentatonix is about to share with them in the coming months.

Fans of the group have also been showing high praise for Matt Sallee, the newest member of the group. Sallee has been singing bass for the group since 2017, following the departure of Avi Kaplan. Like each of the members in the group, Sallee has developed a following that has welcomed him to the group with open arms and is always excited about his contributions to the music.

We are crossing our fingers for a new Pentatonix album soon, as we cannot wait to hear the beautiful mix of their talented voices. We also cannot wait for a safer time, where we can experience their harmonies in person.
