Louis Vuitton Reveals New Luxury Face Shield for Stylish Protection
Louis Vuitton releases their first luxurious face shield.
Face masks and shields are becoming a part of our daily routine, and brands are coming out with their style of masks for customers. Louis Vuitton recently decided to bring out their unique face shield for customers to be protected with high fashion. The luxury brand face shield comes with a price of $961 and is part of the LV 2021 Cruise collection. It will be released on Oct. 3oth worldwide in stores. The face shield features a strap wrapped around the head covered with the brand’s signature design. It also contains a hard plastic shield that covers the head and face with the same designed outline for style and protection. In addition, it is mentioned, “The shield transitions from clear to dark in sunlight, protecting wearers from the sun.” Customers can also wear it in form of a cap by pulling the shield up towards the strap.

Furthermore, the brand had helped combat the spread of the pandemic by altering its assembly line to generate cleaning supplies along with personal protective equipment. Louis Vuitton was also one of the few fashion brands that contributed to giving hand sanitizer and donating 2,500 cloth masks to Metropolitan Transportation Authority workers in New York City. As stated in Complex, “Louis Vuttion was one of several major fashion brands that helped combat the spread of COVID-19. The brand retooled its assembly line to create PPE and cleaning supplies. It also donated 2,500 cloth masks to MTA along with mass-producing hand sanitizer when there was a global shortage.”
