Mariah Carey Promotes ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carey’ Memoir That Has Fans Going Wild
Mariah Carey will soon release her own memoir that fills fans in on her whole life story.
Mariah Carey will soon release her book, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, that tells the story from her personal life to her music career. All of her decisions are fully explained in this memoir for fans to understand how she has gotten to where she is today.
Carey expresses her early life as a complete transformation from the current life she lives. She grew up living in multiple different homes in Long Island, New York. She was a child of an interracial couple that separated while she was young. She covers a more in-depth story of her early childhood in the memoir that will have readers learning about the pain she went through at the young age of 12. “I had no frame of reference for normal,” writes Carey. Although Carey was racially bullied and struggled with her home life, she was a gifted child. Her life became a rags-to-riches story when she was signed with Sony Records at 18. A majority of the book is about her childhood years into her marriage with Tommy Mottola. Carey frames herself as a survivor of major hardships. She steers away from what she has done and accomplished and focuses more on what has been to her throughout her life.
On Septemeber 22, Carey released an Audible of an excerpt from her memoir. The preview had fans getting emotional from her beautiful words and lyrics. Kelly Clarkson tweeted about the Audible and received a response from Carey herself.
