China McClain Expresses Her Feelings About the Final Verdict on the Breonna Taylor Case

Due to the recent news that only one of Breonna Taylor’s killers will be tried, many celebrities have been speaking up about the racial injustice within the case.
On March 13, 2020, Breonna Taylor was shot by police who tried to enter her home in the middle of the night. Since then, there has been a multitude of protests and riots to demand justice as the police officers who killed her were not arrested.
On September 23, a grand jury only found one of the police officers guilty, and the other two officers were found not guilty. Singer and actress China McClain, who is known for her start in Disney from the TV series A.N.T Farm, has been a huge advocated for the Black Lives Matter movement for quite a while.

She took to Instagram expressing hows he feels about the current verdict in the Breonna Taylor case. She warned people to stay safe, admitting that justice was not served in Breonna’s case and that she is upset and heartbroken as those advocating for Taylor have “waited a long time for nothing to happen.” McClain captioned the post simply with the hashtag, #BreonnaTaylor.
Since the verdict, protests have erupted overnight in Taylor’s home of Louisville, Kentucky, as the young woman’s death was not served justice.
