BTS Releases New Interactive Game, ‘BTS Universe Story’
BTS just released a new interactive video game for fans to create stories featuring their favorite members.
The popular K-pop group, BTS, just released a video game called BTS Universe Story. The game was released on September 24 globally and has sparked attention from K-pop fans worldwide.
Making their debut in 2013, BTS is one of the most popular K-pop groups. The members are RM, Jin, SUGA, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. They have amassed an incredibly dedicated following, and the release of this new game gives their fans just another way to connect with them.
The premise of the app revolves around users building their own story– using the app to imagine their own universes and adventures. Each story is unique to the choices that the user picks. Additionally, the app will feature avatars of each of the members of the group, allowing users to interact with them as well. The game also allows users to see other fan’s stories and connect with fellow BTS fans around the world.
According to an article by Variety, some features of the game include “a ‘collection’ mode, letting players collect clothes and accessories to style the members of BTS, along with the ability to capture augmented-reality (AR) photos with their own customized characters.” The article further discusses potential rewards players can receive such as “a logo T-shirt or a story-creation theme for creating a story that receives a certain number of “likes” from other players.”
