Rosalía Creates Bold Red Lipstick With Mac Cosmetics to Promote Equal Rights

Rosalía teamed up with Mac Cosmetics on a stunning, sexy red lipstick. Earlier this year, the Spanish Grammy Award-winning musician was chosen as the Mac Viva Glam ambassador. She co-created the Viva Glam 26 lipstick; a fiery red matte lipstick that will give back 100% to promote equal rights. The shade of the lipstick is bright orangey-red that mimics Rosalía’s originality and flamenco influences.
They launched the bold red lip on September 25, exclusively sold only at Mac Cosmetics online and retail stores. The limited-edition Viva Glam 26 is perfect for a date night or girl’s night out, retailing for $19.
Every year, a new shade of the iconic Viva Glam lipstick is created to promote MAC Cosmetic’s Viva Glam Foundation. This year, it’s an alluring red. It is an annual campaign that promotes the chosen lipstick and 100% of the selling price will advocate for equal rights.
“It’s an honor to be the face of VIVA GLAM 26 and to champion, a cause that is inclusive, supports individuality and gives back 100 percent,” Rosalía says in the press release.
All profits made from Viva Glam 26 helps support efforts for equality in the world by supporting local organizations. The funds raised will give back to support women and girls, HIV/AIDS, and LGBTQ+ communities for equal rights and healthy lives. Since 1994, the foundation has raised over $500,000,000 globally and will continue to raise more.
