Actress Lily Collins Is Officially Engaged to Charlie McDowell

Director and writer Charlie McDowell recently got down on one knee and proposed to actress Lily Collins.

Collins is known for her work in many popular films such as The Blind Side, Mirror Mirror, Love, Rosie, To the Bone, and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile. She is also the lead character in the highly anticipated new Netflix series Emily in Paris.

McDowell is a writer and director who has worked on several movies and shows including the film The Discovery and series Silicon Valley and Dear White People.

Collins and McDowell have been dating for over a year now and as of this week, they are officially engaged. The two lovebirds shared the exciting news on their Instagrams this week as Collins showed off her new gorgeous engagement ring paired with a joyful grin.

Collins’ beautifully unique ring was designed by Irene Neuwirth, whom she thanks in the comments of her fiance’s post. People reported that the ring contains a “one-of-a-kind rose-cut diamond.” Its golden band holds the sparkly square rosy-pink stone.

Newly engaged Collins continues to share her excitement today by posting an artsy selfie with her “favorite new accessory.”
