Filming for ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Has Finally Resumed
The Stranger Things cast heads back to the upside-down as season 4 production resumes.
The Stranger Things kids excited fans yesterday when they all hinted that they’ve continued filming season 4. The show’s stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, and Noah Schnapp all posted a photo of the film clapperboard, and pictures have recently surfaced of the cast on set.
The show started filming for season 4 earlier this year, but like many other shows and films, production was put to a halt after concerns of COVID-19 began to grow. The castmembers were seen wearing masks on set to abide by safety guidelines.
Fans went into a frenzy once they saw the social media posts about the filming. They’ve been eager for the show to come back since season 3 released last summer, leaving everyone with a lot of questions. Many people wonder where Will, Eleven, and Jonathan are moving and how their departure from Hawkins will affect the show.

Earlier this year, a short season 4 trailer was released showing Hopper in Russia even though he was killed off last season. Fans are anxious to get the backstory on Hopper and see if he’s really alive or not. Season 3 was arguably the best and most-loved season of Stranger Things yet, and it’s no doubt that season 4 is the most anticipated, especially after the COVID-19 delay.

With Stranger Things being one of Netflix’s most-watched shows, there’s no denying that season 4 will be a big hit for the streaming service. There’s no word on when the new season will be released, but we’re hoping it’ll be soon. In the meantime, you can stream all three seasons of Stranger Things on Netflix now to get you through the rest of quarantine.
