Alternative pop band LANY just released its highly anticipated new album mama’s boy.
Band members Paul Klein, Les Priest, and Jake Goss come together to create their vulnerable third album. mama’s boy has a mix of ballads and upbeat songs that showcase their feelings and indie-pop sound.
The album features real, raw, and heartfelt emotions from the band with lyrics that speak on family reconciliation, life’s struggles, love, and heartbreak. Lead singer Klein takes his inspiration from his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, to help create this sentimental album.

This new album includes 14 songs, including singles “good guys”, “you!”, “if this is the last time”, and “cowboy in LA” which have been released over the past couple of months in preparation for the album drop. Klein expresses his hope in the new album being a source of comfort for his fans during this time.
Along with today’s album release comes a brand new music video for one of the songs on the tracklist, “heart won’t let me.” This song is about feeling unhappy in a relationship, but something keeps you from leaving. While your head tells you to walk away, your heart won’t let you. The creative music video illustrates this feeling well as Klein is carried around by a huge heart balloon.
LANY’s new album mama’s boy is now available to listen to again and again. The trio has also dropped new merch to celebrate the album’s release, including t-shirts and a signed zine with artsy doodles, photos, and lyrics.
