Trump Leaves Hospital and Returns to White House, After Only Three Days of Being Infected With COVID-19
President Trump has left the Walter Reed Medical Center Monday afternoon and returns to the White House infected.
The announcement comes just shortly after the president was given supplement oxygen in order to breathe due to his contraction of COVID-19. Trump continues to downplay the severity of the virus, tweeting along with his departure, “Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life.”

The president was admitted to the Washington D.C. area hospital Friday evening after tweeting that he and First Lady Melania Trump had contracted the virus. Since then, contradicting reports have emerged as to when Trump knew he was COVID-19 positive, which tells if he continued to campaign knowing he had the extremely contagious virus. Sean Conley, the president’s physician, has declined to answer even basic questions such as what kind of treatment Trump has been receiving.
Despite his condition, Trump briefly left the hospital on Sunday for a car ride that endangered his Secret Service members. Despite his doctor’s orders, the president wanted to leave because he was reportedly “bored,” and the car ride was a compromise. It has also been reported that his discharge is being “rushed.”
A source familiar with POTUS phone calls from the hospital today tells me he said “I need to get out of here.” He’s being warned that if he rushes to leave the hospital and has a setback it would be bad for not just his health, but his re-election campaign.

Members of Trump’s “inner circle” have continued to test positive for the virus. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany is the latest to be positive on Monday morning, while Vice President Mike Pence has continued to test negative. Democratic candidate Joe Biden has also continued to test negative and currently leads Trump in the national polls by a nine-point lead, 51 to 42.
The President returned to the white house this afternoon wearing no mask. Trump is still considered to be highly contagious, and his actions are reckless and demonstrate what not to do if you have COVID-19. We hope that Americans will now see that no one is immune. Wear your mask, social distance, and follow CDC guidelines.
