Miley Cyrus Announces ‘Miley Cyrus Backyard Sessions’ on MTV
Unplug with powerful singer Miley Cyrus as she gives a stripped-down show on MTV.
The popular MTV Unplugged franchise announced a new special coming soon called Miley Cyrus Backyard Sessions.
The MTV Unplugged series typically features musical artists playing an acoustic setlist of their own songs as well as covers. Cyrus herself was on the show in 2014 around the release of her album Bangerz.
Cyrus recently teased on her Twitter account that something exciting was coming, tagging MTV in the caption.

On October 5, she announced the upcoming MTV special called Miley Cyrus Backyard Sessions with a video teaser showcasing clips of the artist performing. This show promises to deliver stripped back and unplugged performances of popular hits from Cyrus.

The show will fittingly take place in the singer’s backyard in Los Angeles, California. Along with performing a bunch of her popular hits, including her new song “Midnight Sky,” you can also expect to see some covers of classics from legendary artists such as Pearl Jam and Britney Spears.

Cyrus has also recently released, much to her fans’ requests, her popular cover of Blondie hit “Heart of Glass,” which she performed live at the iHeartRadio Music Festival this year. You can listen to her powerful cover as well as her latest single “Midnight Sky” here.
