Netflix’s ‘Selena: The Series’ Has an Official Release Date and Trailer
Netflix announced today that they will start streaming a new series called Selena: The Series about the iconic singer-songwriter, Selena Quintanilla in December.
The series will follow the singer’s rise to stardom, her life, and untimely death. The new show will explore the tough decisions that Selena’s family had to make in order to aid her in her rise to international fame. The TV show will star actress Christian Serratos, who is known for her work in The Walking Dead.
Part one of the series, which will become available for streaming on December 4, will be a six-hour-long episode. The show was created by Moisés Zamora (who is also serving as one of the executive producers). Selena’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla is also serving as an executive producer for the show, and Hiromi Katama is acting as the director.

The series is also starring Julio Macias, Jesse Posey, Gabriel Chavarria, Seidy López, and Noemí González. Neflix released the trailer for Selena: The Series on YouTube today and we have goosebumps.
