Megan Thee Stallion Announces Don’t Stop Scholarship Fund
Megan Thee Stallion recently announced the Don’t Stop Scholarship Fund to help women of color pursue their degree.
With the fresh release of her new single “Don’t Stop” Ft. Young Thug, the rapper seized the opportunity to partner with Amazon Music’s Rap Rotation and is lending a helping hand to the women who don’t stop working hard for their education.
Megan acknowledges that 2020 has been full of obstacles for women trying to achieve higher education. Therefore, the Don’t Stop Scholarship Fund will award two $10,000 scholarships to female students of color pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Post-graduate degree in any field.

The scholarship is also meant to shed light on the lack of representation of women of color in higher education. “Women remain underrepresented and undervalued in society, and female students of color are at a larger disadvantage when it comes to success to financial resources,” explains the newsletter attached to the scholarship.

Through everything, Megan has proved to be an example to her female audience. Despite her rise to fame, Megan decided to continue her health administration degree at Texas Southern University. In a previous interview with People, she opened up about her mother being the reason she was still pursuing her education. After her mother’s passing in March of 2019, Megan said, “I really want to make my mom proud… She saw me going to school before she passed.”
However, Megan has bigger plans in which she will put her degree and fame to use. “You know what, I’m gonna open an assisted-living facility and use the money that I make from rapping to open it. Then I’m gonna let my classmates run it,” said the artist.
It is clear to see that despite her fame and success, Megan is aware of the struggles women of color face as she has seen it through herself and the women in her life.
#DONTSTOPSCHOLARSHIP if I can get this I would be able to become what I was dreaming to be. A guidance counselor for troubled youth. Please Lord lemme win so my parents can ease their troubles 🙏🏼❤️
