Pixar’s ‘Soul’ Will Go Straight to Disney+
Pixar’s new movie, Soul, will be streaming on Disney+ on December 25.
In light of the pandemic, Pixar has decided to skip the movie theater release for Soul and instead go straight to Disney+.
According to IMDb, the premise of the film centers around “a musician who has lost his passion for music is transported out of his body and must find his way back with the help of an infant soul learning about herself.” The film features the talents of famous actors Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey, and more.

The movie was originally set to release in June but was postponed due to the pandemic. A positive for those looking forward to watching this film is that there is no additional cost to do so; the movie will be included in a Disney+ subscription.
According to Variety, “Unlike Mulan, which released on Disney Plus for an extra $30, Soul will be available to Disney Plus’ 60.5 million subscribers at no extra cost. The streaming service costs $6.99 per month.”

A new original Pixar film is always a special occasion, and this truly heartwarming and humorous story about human connection and finding one’s place in the world will be a treat for families to enjoy together this holiday season.”
Overall, this film looks like a fun and heartwarming movie to watch with your family. Be sure to mark the date and make it your December movie night.
