Tom Ford’s New Bitter Peach Fragrance Is Keeping the Summer Spirit Alive
You can say hello to October by smelling like a summer paradise with Tom Ford’s newest Private Blend Fragrance, a luxe fruity-floral named Bitter Peach.
Described by the brand as “sweet turns suggestive,” it’s the perfect fragrance for the last few warm days before the temperature begins to drop. It’s creamy, warm, multifaceted, and, at times, slightly spicy and woody, with spikes and splashes of unexpected sweetness. It is, indeed, “a voluptuous lure that captures nectar-filled flesh at its bursting, luscious peak.”
The perfume features notes of cardamom oil, sandalwood, vanilla, rum, and jasmine absolute, which give the mix a dark and unapologetic sensual tone, while unexpected pairings like patchouli, heliotrope, cognac oil, and Tonka bean also make appearances. The sandalwood, benzoin, and cashmeran compose a rich drydown reminiscent of Tom Ford’s Black Orchid, now one of the designer’s most popular scents.
The bottle itself oozes luxury. Mirroring the layering and depth of the fragrance, the bottle combines an opaque inner lacquering with a tinted translucent outer layer for depth and dimension, Tom Ford says, “inspired by the array of shades at the peach’s luscious center.” The bottle resembles a warm-toned vintage glass just begging to be put on display after its contents are used up.
Bitter Peach is joining the ranks of other Tom Ford Private Blends, such as Oud Wood, F*cking Fabulous, and Lost Cherry.
Self-care is important right now, and Bitter Peach is just what we need in a fragrance to smell great and remind us of warmer days. You can purchase a bottle of your own here.
