Attend This Year’s AFI FEST Virtually
Get your at-home movie theater set up to attend this year’s virtual AFI FEST.
The AFI FEST showcases a wide range of films from all over the world. Not only does this festival traditionally have screenings, but it also has panels and opportunities to talk to filmmakers. This world-class event presented by Audi typically takes place in Los Angeles, but due to COVID-19, the festival is going virtual.
The film genres vary so you will be able to choose from sections such as documentaries, short films, tributes, and world cinema. You have the option to buy tickets for the specific films you want to view or you can purchase passes that allow you to unlock and access more films, content, and virtual events.
Can’t wait to get my martini on tonight for the premiere of #ImYourWoman at @AFIFEST. Congrats, @juliahartowitz! pic.twitter.com/u3ywsAMwpK

Once a film you have ordered becomes watchable, it will only be available for the following 48 hours. Be sure to check out the festival schedule to know when each of the films will be available. You will also be able to access a Q&A about the film and have the opportunity to share what you thought of it through a vote.
If you live in the LA area, you will have the chance to view some film screenings in a drive-in movie setting.
This eight-day film festival lasts from October 15 to October 22 so make some popcorn and enjoy attending this year’s AFI FEST from home. Visit the AFI FEST website for more information.
