Derek Hough and His Girlfriend Haley Erbert Gave an Incredible Performance on ‘Dancing with the Stars’
Professional ballroom dancer Derek Hough returned to the Dancing with the Stars stage last night with a jaw-dropping Paso Doble.
Season 29 of Dancing with the Stars has given viewers a lot of new things this year, including new stars, some new professionals, and new host Tyra Banks. Additionally, Hough became a new judge this season, stepping in for original head judge Len Goodman who was unable to travel from the UK because of COVID-19.
Hough was a professional dancer on the competition show for nearly ten years, and he holds the record for most wins on the show with his various celebrity partners. The six-time mirror ball champion left his pro dancer spot on the show and has not performed on the DWTS stage since 2017 until last night’s episode.
Hough and his girlfriend Haley Erbert treated viewers to a powerful performance. They danced an intense Pasa Doble, which is a traditional Spanish dance, to “Uccen” by the Taalbi Brothers.
Hough looked sleek as he wore all black and Erbert sported a beautiful costume with red detail. The duo exuded passion, chemistry, power, and intensity as they owned the stage.
The dancer’s return to the DWTS stage was amazing and was definitely a memorable performance. Hopefully, we’ll see him perform again this season, but until then we’ll listen to and trust in his praises and critiques of this season’s celebrity dancers.
