Zendaya Confirms That New ‘Euphoria’ Episodes Are on the Way
Zendaya has just revealed that two special episodes of Euphoria are coming soon, and fans are freaking out.
Fans have been dying for new Euphoria episodes since the first season premiered last summer, and Zendaya has just answered their prayers by revealing that two new episodes are on the way. With its focus on teen angst and navigating life as a teenager in the digital age, the show has been very relatable and therapeutic for many young people.

We really missed them. Two special Euphoria episodes coming soon. First one December 6th on @hbo
The episode, titled “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” follows Rue as she celebrates Christmas and focuses on the aftermath of being left by Jules at the train station and relapsing. The episode is written and directed by series creator Sam Levinson. It also stars Colman Domingo, who appeared in season one. The title and date of the second episode have not been announced yet. Both special episodes were produced under COVID-19 guidelines.
The hit HBO series has gained a large following since it first aired. With an average of 5.5 million views per episode and several social media accounts dedicated to the show, it was almost a no-brainer that it would be renewed for another season.

Production for the show’s second season began earlier this year, but filming came to halt after concerns of COVID-19 began to grow. It was uncertain as to when the cast could get back on set until it was announced last month that filming had resumed.

With the show’s success came six nominations at this year’s Emmy Awards, and the series took home three. Zendaya stole the show with her historical win for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series for her role as Rue. At just 24-years-old, she became the youngest person to ever win in the category.
