Words simply don’t do justice to someone such as Naomi Campbell, however when Vogue Magazine described her as a “model, mentor, provocateur, icon” on their November 2020 cover they got pretty close.

So many young models look up to Naomi Campbell from the pedestal she has earned through hard work and grace. Throughout Campbell’s carer in the world of modeling, she has acted as sort of a motherly figure to many aspiring models and taught them tips and tricks she has culminated over the years.

As a woman of color, Campbell is a champion of diversity and teaches the people who look up to her to be comfortable in their skin. She is and will continue to be a prominent figure in the BIPOC community.

“Now the things I do are not just for me anymore,” Campbell told Vogue Magazine. “I think more of my culture and my race, as opposed to thinking about just me.”

Campbell stands tall for her heritage and demands that the world mends the effect of racism. Campbell uses her platform and power to fight for what she believes in, despite how critics condemn her. She is unapologetic and carries heavy responsibilities on her shoulders with poise.

Though Campbell rocks a size 7, she has big shoes to fill in the impact she has made. She has entrusted her legacy to her proteges and despite passing down her craft, she will always do it best. We are inspired by Campbell and her cover of Vogue Magazine and can’t wait to see what’s next from her.
