Greentea Peng has released her new single, “Revolution.”

London singer Greentea Peng speaks up about her opinion on 2020 through her latest song “Revolution.” In the video, Peng comments on how “Revolution” is the product of this year’s political, societal, and individual turmoil.

“2020, a painfully transformative year for the collective. Revolution is a product of this pain and also the anger we’ve been struggling to move through, at the same time it represents the hope conjured. A reminder to remember where the first revolution must take place and also a reminder to be aware of where and what we put our energy and belief into,” she explained.

Melody Maker directed the music video. Maker is a director that combines portraiture with camera trickery and bold styles to create unique films. Peng and Maker have worked together before for “Ghost Town” and now for “Revolutions.” The song is part of Peng’s experimentation of sounds that are dub-infused.
