Tom Holland Makes Cameo in Special Spider-Man Trailer for Heart Transplant Patient
In a video released on Halloween, Tom Holland aided in making a dream of becoming Spider-Man true for a heart transplant patient dubbed “SpiderJerry.”
The video, made in collaboration with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, showcased Holland as Peter Parker as he rushed to a classroom for an exam. In passing, Parker asks heart transplant recipient Jerry to fill in as Spider-Man for the day.

The trailer-like video soon transitions to Jerry decked in Spider-Man attire, showing off his web-slinging abilities. The scene is followed by a title card that reads, “Spider-Jerry: Close to Home.”
Over the years, Holland has been known to dress up as his Spider-Man character to surprise hospital patients. In 2017, the actor founded a charity organization with his brothers called The Brothers Trust, which generates funding for various charities across the globe.
In May of this year, Holland donated to charity on behalf of his organization while dressed as an owl.
