Trump Supporters Cause an Uproar by Chanting ‘Fire Fauci!’ at a Recent Florida Trump Rally
While finishing up a series of campaign rallies, current President Donald Trump held a rally while in Miami, Florida, where the crowd had quite a lot to say about National Institution of Allergy and Infectious Disease Director, Dr. Anthony Fauci.
On Sunday night President Trump held a campaign rally in Miami, Florida, which exceeded the curfew that is set to try and hinder the spread of COVID-19.
As Trump spoke, supporters began chanting “Fire Fauci!” As this continued, Trump then alluded to the fact that he would fire Dr. Fauci by saying, ” Don’t tell anybody, but let me wait until a little bit after the election.” While also saying, “I appreciate the advice,” as supporters continued to chant.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Fauci and President Trump have often disagreed. Fauci is an avid advocate for wearing masks, while also warning U.S. citizens to be wary as we enter into the winter months as there will most likely be an increase of COVID-19 cases.
Trump continues to blatantly disregard Fauci’s advice, claiming that many of his findings and beliefs about the Coronavirus are wrong. Trump has also continuously been seen not wearing a mask and has mocked many politicians, such as his presidential opponent, for wearing a mask, despite the fact that Trump himself contracted COVID-19 in early October.
Dr. Fauci has received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the George M. Kober Medal of the Association of American Physicians, the Albany Medical Center Prize in Medicine and Biomedical Research, and others.

And President Trump wants to fire him?https://t.co/WSN1Fgy6iN
After last night’s rally, it seems as if Trump still strongly disagrees with Fauci and even plans to fire him if Trump is re-elected in 2020. As of now, Fauci has not made a statement responding to the President.
