Trump Attempted to Fraudulently Call the Election Before All Votes Were Counted
Before all of the ballots were counted in the 2020 presidential election, President Donald Trump declared victory of his second term as president against Joe Biden as well as requesting the Supreme Court to stop counting ballots altogether.
In the 2016 election, where Trump ran against Hilary Clinton, Trump was projected to lose. Though Trump lost the popular vote, he won the electoral college vote, and later that January he was inaugurated into office. This is why many Americans are erring on the side of caution and not underestimating the loyalty his followers have. Trump could learn a thing or two from the people and leave it up to the actual votes to do the talking, instead of making premature statements.
Biden acted quickly and mentioned Trump claiming victory. “It’s not my place or Donald Trump’s place to declare who has won this election. That’s the decision of the American people,” Biden said.
I underestimated just how weak Trump would look suing states because he didn’t like the rejection.

Biden also seems to be confident, as he told Americans he feels good about where they are. He also believes he is on the “right track” of becoming the next president.

Trump’s optimism manifested in his words. When talking about Pennsylvania he said, “it’s going to be almost impossible to catch.” Meanwhile, concerning Georgia, he said, “they’re never going to catch us, they can’t catch us.” Not to mention he said, “We’ve clearly won North Carolina.”
Overall, a couple of states are still to be determined. People who are counting the votes are working day and night to finish. They have asked the American people to be patient with them during this much anticipated time.
