Ariana Grande’s ‘Positions’ is Topping the Charts
The queen of pop, Ariana Grande, released her sixth studio album, Positions last Friday and it is reigning supreme.
On October 30, after releasing her latest single “Positions,” Grande released her album of the same name featuring an R&B and pop-infused collection of songs. Her highly-anticipated album includes songs “34+35,” “Just Like Magic,” “Love Language,” “Obvious,” and “POV.”

Grande’s single, “Positions” has also debuted as number one on Billboard’s Hot 100. Billboard defines their Hot 100 list as, “The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming, radio airplay, and sales data. She is now the first artist in history to have five songs debut as number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 list. Her Billboard hits include “Thank U Next,” “7 Rings,” “Stuck With U” (with Justin Bieber), “Rain on Me” (with Lady Gaga), and “Positions.”
This is also Grande’s third number-one single of the year. She is the first woman to do this since Rihanna and Katy Perry achieved this back in 2010. Her album also had eight tracks make it on to Apple Music’s Top ten list.
Grande’s fans have also responded positively to Positions and have voiced their appreciation for it on Twitter. The pop queen has also thanked her supporters for their outpouring of love.
