Little Mix’s fans show concern after member Jesy Nelson missed out on important events originally set to be hosted by the entire girl group.

On November 7, one of Little Mix’s representatives delivered a statement via Twitter explaining, “Jesy is unwell and will not be appearing on tonight’s final of Little Mix The Search. She will also not be hosting or performing at tomorrow’s MTV EMA’s.”

Mixers were quick to show their concern and love for Nelson on Twitter. In hopes of helping her feel better, fans started to tweet the hashtag “#WeLoveYouJesy.”

The other ladies, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, took to their Little Mix Twitter account to express their friend’s absence. On the day of The Search’s finale, the ladies said, “We’re so sad Jesy won’t be able to join us tonight, but we have such an amazing show in store for you all.”

The Search, broadcasted on BBC, followed six bands as they competed to join Little Mix on their next tour. Unfortunately, the girl group had to go through with the finale and perform their hit “Secret Love Song” without Nelson.

The three bandmates also missed Nelson’s presence as they hosted and performed “Sweet Melody” at the MTV EMAs on November 8. The ladies virtually brought their joy and charisma from various European cities due to ongoing travel restrictions prompted by the pandemic.

The MTV EMAs also awarded Little Mix with Best Pop and UK & Ireland Act awards. Edwards, Thirwall, and Pinnock accepted the recognition on behalf of Nelson, expressing how they wished Nelson would be there with them.

Indeed, fans will find ease once Nelson rejoins Little Mix as she recovers. Be sure to follow Little Mix on Twitter for any updates on Nelson and the rest of the ladies.
