Givenchy’s New Holiday Black to Light Palette Creates the Perfect Glam Look
Givenchy is celebrating the holiday season the right way with a new exclusive eyeshadow palette called Black to Light.
Nicolas Degennes, Givenchy’s creative director of makeup, designed the perfect combination of three stain and matte colors that can be worn during the day or at night. The new palette consists of three eyeshadows that are both festive, natural, and sophisticated. They also are made to be worn either on their own, layered, or mixed, giving you unlimited ways to wear the product. This is to help structure the eyes with shading of color and light.
To get you more into the holiday spirit, Givenchy has molded the eyeshadows into the shape of stars. They are enclosed in a sparkly, elegant case that screams holiday cheer. Their high-performance formula helps define your eyes with bold colors lasting up to 12 hours.

The product is made up of a creamy, buildable texture with a long-lasting coat of color. It is talc-free which reveals the intense color from the very first stroke of applying it. In addition, the eyeshadow has pearly particles varying in size that create a satiny, glittery effect with a metallic finish.
Givenchy suggests that to receive the most out of the product, you should use a flat eyeshadow brush. You then should start by applying a light shade to the inner corner of your eye. Next, you should continue towards the outer corner with the darker shades provided. Lastly, blend and mix the colors together to create your favorite glam look.
