Beyonce Collaborates With Peloton to Support HBCUs
Peloton has announced a multi-year partnership with Beyoncé.
Beyoncé is teaming up with Peloton to create pro-social narratives within the Peloton class experience.
Beyoncé has been the most requested artist by the Peloton community. The famous fitness platform is commemorating Beyoncé’s Homecoming Season, which was a celebration for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The goal of the movement is to honor tradition and legacy for the Black community.
With the pandemic, this year’s festivities for Homecoming Season have been held virtually. However, Beyoncé and Peloton have combined to create a similar experience through workouts. This partnership will help extend Homecoming to all Peloton users through class workouts. Homecoming-inspired workout classes will include indoor cycling, strength, running, yoga, meditation, and boot camp.

Beyoncé spoke out about her partnership and why she feels this collaboration is so important for HBCUs.
“Peloton and I both believe that the power of music can help uplift, motivate and inspire those on their fitness journeys,” said Beyoncé. “I’ve been a Peloton member for several years, and I’m excited to partner with a company that helps people, young and old, be the best versions of themselves, in an innovative and adaptable way. I’m proud to celebrate the students at HBCUs with this donation, to encourage them to find and embrace their own wellness regimens.”
Peloton’s Head of Music, Gwen Bethel Riley, commented on this new partnership with excitement.
“Beyoncé’s commitment to empowerment and artistic expression is an inspiration to the entire Peloton community,” said Riley. “It is a privilege to be able to work closely with her and her extraordinary team to broaden access to our platform and collaborate on incredible offerings we think our members will love.”
Beyoncé will continue to work closely with Peloton to create new workout experiences that are fun and disciplined. Stay tuned to see this amazing creation.
