The CW recently released a trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

Gilmore Girls

It has been 20 years since we first saw Lorelai and Rory Gilmore on the screens of our TVs, and four years since the revival, A Year in the Life, aired on Netflix. Now, on November 23, The CW network is bringing us A Year in the Life for this holiday season.

The original show, Gilmore Girls, started back in 2000 and went on for seven seasons, ending in 2007. The show tells a story about the relationship between a single mother, Lorelai Gilmore, and her daughter Rory, who lives in Stars Hollow, Connecticut.

In 2016, Netflix released a revival of the show Gilmore Girls called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel reprised their roles as Lorelai and Rory, the fast-talking, coffee-loving, mother-daughter duo, along with many other cast members of the original series. The revival took viewers back to Stars Hollow for an entire year, with an episode for each season of the year. Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, who were the series creative directors wrote and served as executive producers for all of the new installments.

Now, in honor of the 20th anniversary, the CW network has decided to bring the revival back so fans can experience the Stars Hallow magic they know and love. Mark your calendars and get comfy because you definitely won’t want to miss out on the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

This four-night event will air starting on November 23 and will end on November 26. It will also stream for free on the CW app and on CWTV for 30 days following its premiere.
