Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, Confirms Exciting News for ‘WandaVision’

Fans have waited months for new rumors about Marvel content to be confirmed but Keven Feige, President of Marvel Studios, solidified two theories about Marvel’s newest series, WandaVision.

Entertainment Weekly dropped the latest information about the show with official pictures of the crew, mostly featuring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bethany, who play Wanda Maximoff and Vision respectively. One piece of news that Feige let slip was, “…if you’ve been tracking the 23 movies we’ve made and following along the stories into Phase 4, there’ll be a wealth of rewards waiting for you as it all unfolds.” This sounds extremely rewarding for long-time fans and could encourage those who haven’t watched yet to dip their toes into the Marvel waters.

Entertainment Weekly also confirmed the theory that has been running around the internet for a few months concerning the new Doctor Strange film. They stated, WandaVision, Feige notes, will directly set up the 2022 film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, with Olsen’s witch playing a key role alongside Benedict Cumberbatch’s sorcerer.” IMDB currently has Olsen listed in the credits for the film, reprising her role as Wanda, but there has been much speculation about how her character could come into play.

Each show that Marvel Studios is currently developing for the Disney+ platform is designed with both future and past films in mind. We can’t wait to see all the twists and turns this zany sitcom has in store.
