Justin Bieber Releases Cover of ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree’ Available Now on Amazon Music
On November 12, pop star Justin Bieber released his new rendition of the famous Christmas classic, “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”
Bieber surprised fans by releasing a cover of the Christmas song ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree’ but with an R&B twist. Bieber posted on social media to announce the song’s release. He included a short clip of an animated Bieber, decked out in a red turtle neck and green and red plaid pants, singing the holiday hit into a microphone.
Bieber admits that “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree’ has always been one of his favorite songs for the holidays, so he was more than happy to work with Amazon and do his own take on the song.
Bieber’s rendition will be included in this year’s Amazon Original’s Songs holiday collection which includes a plethora of holiday favorites such as “Last Christmas” and “Christmas Time is Here.” The collection will also feature holiday classics by artists such as Mary J. Though this is Bieber’s first cover of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” this is not Bieber’s first time working with holiday music. In his earlier years, he released his Christmas album Under the Mistletoe in 2011, which had such hits as “Silent Night”, “Drummer Boy”, the title track, “Mistletoe”, and who could forget his collaboration with Mariah Carey on her Christmas phenomenon “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
