Demi Lovato Took Audience’s Breath Away With Five Outfit Changes at the 2020 People’s Choice Awards
Demi Lovato graced this year’s People’s Choice Awards as an incredible host and a fashion icon with five different outfit changes.
Lovato hosted the People’s Choice Awards at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, and she kicked off the red carpet with her opening monologue. The singer-songwriter dazzled the red carpet with an orange sequined turtleneck top, along with matching baggy pants. Already making a strong statement with killer shoulder pads, Lovato neutralized the look with subtle coral makeup and effortless, long black hair.
This show-stopping look is by Indian-American designer, Naeem Khan. He is best known for his intricately detailed gowns and styling former First Lady Michelle Obama.
As Lovato hit the stage, she surprised the viewers with a full 180 outfit change. The artist decided to go blonde and wore a blush-hued gown for the beginning of the awards. Styled by Los Angeles-based stylist, Siena Montesano, Lovato’s dress dazzled with a low v-shaped neckline, high middle-slit, as well as matching stars and sparkling stripes.
Lovato’s third outfit change consisted of a minidress with multicolored stripes. Long sleeves and a fanned outward skirt adorned the dress for even more of a modern look.
Silver pointed pumps by Gianvito Rossi completed the look, having Lovato look an absolute fashion icon.
Showing off her duality, Lovato brought her most glamorous look for her fourth outfit change. This time the artist wore a metallic-purple wrap dress that indeed stunned the viewers at home. Designed by French designer, Alexandre Vauthier, the dress came to life with balloon sleeves and an asymmetrical skirt.
To bring forth a complete look, Lovato matched the gown with a breathtaking diamond necklace by Peter Marco.
Lovato brought the show to an end with a staggering outfit. The singer’s black gown radiated beauty with a deep neckline, elbow-length sleeves, and a mid-rise slit. Despite the dress capable of illuminating the stage independently, Lovato paired it with long dainty earrings, a diamond necklace, a great ring, and black platform heels with a matching jewel.
It is safe to say that Lovato proved herself an incredible host throughout the People’s Choice Awards, but she undoubtedly also proved to be a legendary fashion icon. Be sure to follow Lovato on Twitter and Instagram for a more in-depth look at her outfits.
