Zazie Beetz Joins Brad Pitt for Sony’s ‘Bullet Train’

Zazie Beetz has just joined the star-studded line-up of Brad Pitt’s newest thriller, Bullet Train.

The Atlanta star rounds out the incredible cast consisting of Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Godzilla), Joey King (The Act), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), and Andrew Koji (Fast & Furious 6). The film is reportedly based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka which centers around a group of hitmen and assassins on a train to Tokyo.

David Leitch (Hobbs & Shaw) is directing the adaption and supervising the script written by Zak Olkewicz. As of right now, plot details are being kept under wraps, including information on the character that Beetz will be portraying in the film.

Bullet Train is being produced by Kelly McCormick (Deadpool 2) through the production company 87North, along with Antoine Fuqua (Southpaw). Kat Samick (The Equalizer) is executive producing and Brittany Morrissey is acting as an executive overseer for Sony.

Beetz rose to fame after appearing in Donald Glover’s award-winning series Atlanta and soon secured her spot in the Deadpool franchise with the second film. Most recently, the actress was in Todd Phillips’ Joker and in Lucy in the Sky alongside Natalie Portman.

Production details have not yet been revealed. We can’t wait to see this cast take on their newest thriller.
