Chrissy Metz Holds a Series of Four Livestream Concerts
Chrissy Metz is playing a series of four live virtual shows that are available to her fans.
In her recent 20th Century Fox faith-based film, BREAKTHROUGH, she sings “I’m Standing With You” on the soundtrack. Metz performed this Oscar-nominated song, written by 10-time Academy Award nominee, Diane Warren, at the 2019 ACM Awards. After her role as Joyce Smith, she signed with Universal Music Group’s EMI Nashville.
Metz is currently working on her debut country album in Nashville. Even though she is a well-known actress, she has always said music was her “first love.” She rediscovered this passion after she released her country single “Talking To God,” which has been featured on the radio and performed by Metz at the Grand Ole Opry.
Metz took home both the 2018 and 2019 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, as well as the People’s Choice Award for “Favorite New TV Drama” for her work on NBC’s, “This Is Us.” Metz is also an Emmy and two-time Golden Globe nominee.
I am so excited to be the first guest on @chrissymetz’s livestream from home concert series!!! I’ll be performing a few songs from Six Feet From Under!
