The new TV show, based on the 2015 book of the same name by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton, is what Netflix describes you would get if you “mixed Pretty Little Liars with Center Stage.” The series was created by Canadian playwright Michael MacLennan, who is also known for creating Queer as Folk and Bomb Girls.

The upcoming drama is set to star Lauren Holly, Kylie Jefferson, Casimere Jollette, Daniela Norman, Brennan Clost, and more. The first season will contain ten episodes and was shot throughout 2019.
