Tori Kelly Announces She Will Be Performing at This Years ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’ on NBC

Tori Kelly is one of the first artists to announce that she will be singing at the tree lighting in Rockefeller Center, which will be broadcasted on NBC.

As New York gets ready for the holidays, many around the globe are looking forward to the annual tree lighting in Rockefeller Center. Photos have shown that people are already getting the tree ready to be light on December 2.

The tree lighting, which will be broadcasted on NBC for everyone to watch, has been pretty quiet on which celebrities they will have performing at Rockefeller Center this year. Mario Lopez will be hosting the event from 7 to 8 p.m. Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin, Savannah Guthrie, and Al Rocker, all news anchors from the hit news show Today, will be taking over the rest of the night from 8 to 10 p.m.

Singer Tori Kelly is one of the very first artists to officially announce her participation in the event this morning. On November 19, Kelly posted to Instagram to announce the exciting news and to encourage fans to tune in on Wednesday, December 2.

Later in the day, many celebs followed Kelly, announcing that they will also be performing at Rockefeller Center. The evening will showcase performances by Earth, Wind & Fire, Goo Goo Dolls, Brett Eldredge, Dolly Parton, Dan and Shay, Meghan Trainor, Kelly Clarkson, Jimmy Fallon, Leslie Odon Jr., Gwen Stefani, Pentatonix, and the cast of the musical Ain’t Too Proud.

Due to COVID-19, viewers will need to watch the tree lighting and performances from their homes this year, as security will be denying public access.
