The performance opened with a screen showing the rapper and her beautiful body. In the background, plays a powerful message of self-love. “I love my body. You may not think that my body is perfect, and it probably never will be. But when I look in the mirror, I love what I see,” the rapper states.

Megan Thee Stallion looked stunning in a black, sheer, and sparkly jumpsuit with her long, jet black hair slicked back, and her edges laid. The rapper and her background dancers put on a high-energy show and danced their hearts out while Meg performed her sexually charged and body-positive lyrics.

Fans went crazy, and Megan Thee Stallion began trending on Twitter immediately, as well as #body. The Hotties, the affectionate name for the rapper’s fans, all raved about how they could not stop singing along to the chorus and how it gets stuck in their heads all day. The choreography has already gone viral on TikTok, with Megan joking on social media about fans learning the dance quicker than she did.

The “Circles” rapper also took home the award for Favorite Song – Rap/Hip Hop for being featured on Cardi B’s highly controversial song “WAP.” When she accepted the award, she thanked fans for the praise that her new music has received and for support through the rough year she has spent in the spotlight. She also made sure to thank her late mother, who passed early last year.

Throughout the high and lows of her newfound fame and success, the rapper remains hardworking and humble. She is stepping into the light as one of the best female rappers of the moment. With Good News remaining the number one album on iTunes, Megan Thee Stallion is gearing up for a long rung in the rap game. We can not wait to see what the future brings for the Houston Hottie.
