Harmon makes the past time of chess look so interesting that there has been an increase in interest with many fans learning to play. The show was inspired by the book written by Walter Tevis in 1983. Despite coming out 37 years ago, this book has made a comeback due to the show and has become a New York Times bestseller.
The multitude of fans from every corner of the world can attest to the show’s beauty, but the broken record speaks for itself. You can stream all seven episodes of The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix.
