After leaving the Royal family with his wife Meghan Markle and young son, Prince Harry recently spoke out about his hopes for a better world for his son Archie.

The Duke of Sussex opened up to media outlets recently about his work in conservation and how he wants to save the planet for his son Archie, who will turn two next May. The former Prince helped launch a free streaming service focused on conservation and environmentalism called WaterBear Network (featuring documentaries such as I Am Greta and David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet).

According to Just Jared, the Duke of Sussex recently spoke about how he wants to focus on conservation for his son when he said, “Being in nature is the most healing part of life. I truly believe that’s why it’s there. From the moment you become a father, everything really does change because then you start to realize, well, what is the point in bringing a new person into this world when they get to your age and it’s on fire?” He continued on to say, “We can’t steal their future, we really can’t. That’s not the role, that’s not the job we’re here for. I’ve always believed that hopefully we can leave the world in a better place than when we found it.”

Following in his family’s footsteps, the Duke of Sussex continues to act as a humanitarian and champion conservation and promote environmentalism. He has encouraged all of us to repair the planet for ourselves and for the future generations. With the launch of WaterBear Network, the documentaries available for streaming may inspire the next generation to continue his hard work.

We appreciate the Duke of Sussex’s hard work in the field of environmentalism and look forward to seeing what he accomplishes in the future. We hope that we can all make an effort to save our planet for little Archie, and for the millions of other children who will inhabit this Earth.
