Our Favorite Moments From ‘The Disney Holiday Singalong’
The Disney Holiday Singalong television special brought the holiday cheer to everyone’s homes on November 30, and here are some of our favorite moments.
The Christmas-themed television special that aired on ABC was hosted by TV personality Ryan Seacrest (known for hosting American Idol) and featured performances from singers and actors including Leslie Odom Jr., Katy Perry, Michael Bublé, Chloe X Halle, BTS, Derek Hough, and Hayley Erbert, P!nk, Julianne Hough, Kerry Washington, Adam Lambert, and more. The special acted as a sequel to The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II that aired this past spring, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of our favorite performances from the television special was when Adam Lambert sang “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. The singer, known for his work with the British rock band Queen, gave a stunningly beautiful performance of the Christmas song popularized by singers like Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, and others.
Another one of our favorite moments from the cheery evening was when singer-songwriter P!nk and her daughter, Willow Sage Hart sang “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)” together. Hart also worked with her mother on the album The Greatest Showman: Reimagined (remix of songs from the movie musical The Greatest Showman) in 2017 and sang the reprise of “A Million Dreams.”
We also loved it when Canadian singer, Michael Bublé, and his family sang “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” together for the Christmas special. The singer also covered this song on his popular holiday album Christmas released in 2011.
Another iconic moment was when the iconic pop duo Chloe X Halle sang their own version of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from the Disney movie Frozen. The singing sisters are well known for their hits “Do It,” and “Forgive Me.”

Although the live broadcast of the television special has passed, you can still stream these amazing performances on YouTube TV, Sling, Roku, and Hulu. Watch Odom Jr. sing “What’s This?” from The Nightmare Before Christmas, or listen to Hough sing “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow” to get in the holiday spirit.
