Pixar Animation Studios

The TikTok musical inspired by Disney’s 2007 animated film Ratatouille will have a virtual concert in January of 2021 to support The Actors Fund, and here’s what you need to know.

After the musical concept started trending on TikTok during quarantine, it was picked up by Seaview Productions. A filmed virtual concert of Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical will be available to stream on TodayTix on January 1, 2021, at 7 p.m. ET, with all benefits going towards The Actors Fund. Information about the cast and creative team has not been made public yet.

The idea for the musical began trending on TikTok a few weeks ago, with celebrities like Kevin Chamberlain (known for his work in the Disney sitcom Jessie) recording their own contributions to the project. The musical even got its own playbill on November 21, 2020.

No musical numbers have been announced quite yet, but according to Playbill, possible numbers include “Ode to Remy,” “Tango for Colette and Linguini,” “Trash is Our Treasure,” and “Anyone Can Cook.” Fans have voiced their excitement about the concert on Twitter.

Tickets for the concert are available at this link. The concert will be open to streaming for 72 hours after the performance. We can’t wait to watch Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical.
