Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler Tease at a Fourth Movie Together

CBS

For the past three decades Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler have made a movie together and since 2020 marks a new decade it only makes sense that the iconic duo would make another movie.

At MTV Greatest of All Time award show for Movie & TV Awards, Barrymore and Sandler were awarded the honor of the Dynamic Duo award. As they virtually accepted this award, they dropped hints about another movie.

From jokes about a fake restraining order to thinking up better duos like peanut butter and jelly these two cracked jokes throughout their acceptance speech. Their comical and lighthearted personalities warm the heart and it’s easy to see why so many people are fond of their on-screen chemistry.

Though 2020 is the year that “everything sucks” according to Barrymore, it has brought fans another opportunity to see the “Dynamic Duo” back in action. Ten years may seem like a long time, but the time to find and make another hit movie is fast approaching and the countdown has already commenced.

They refer to their past characters Julia and Robbie from the Wedding singer, Lucy and Henry from 50 First Dates, and Jim and Lauren from Blended. They hope to find two more characters that were as great as the other movies they did in the past. No doubt these two will produce another amazing, romantic comedy film.

Barrymore and Sandler end by graciously thanking MTV for helping their careers and being kind. We are hoping they reunite for another movie soon.
